She supports and amplifies the power of Yakushi, enhancing his ability to bring about physical and spiritual well-being. With her gentle radiance, one can find solace, experience improved health, and discover the path to longevity.
She is often depicted with a radiant halo resembling the shape of the moon. They stand by the side of the Yakushi, alongside the Nikko, symbolizing their support and assistance.
This is called the “Yakushi Triad“.
Additionally, they are sometimes seen holding a lotus flower, representing purity and enlightenment.
